Spyware Terminator FAQ

I am quite confident that I am infected with a threat, but Spyware Terminator does not find anything during a scan. What do I do?

First, check to make sure you have the latest software database version by clicking on the "Update" button under the "Scan" tab. If your software database version is out of date, then update the database and perform another spyware scan.

If, following the spyware scan, there are still no items in the “Threats” tab, check the “Unknown SW” tab. Sometimes threats will be detected but won’t be properly identified. If the item appears in the “Unknown SW” tab, you can delete it from there using the “Remove” button.

If the spyware scan does not detect any items in the “Threats” or “Unknown SW” tabs after updating the software database, then you can manually send anonymous information related to the threat to Crawler Spyware Central by clicking the "Send to Support" button.

You can also use the "Contact Support" tab to report problems that you are experiencing related to unknown software installed on your computer. The anonymous information about the unknown software will be attached to your message.

Please try to describe the problems you are experiencing in as much detail as possible.
