How can I disable the automatic download of language file updates?

Run the Security Center and go to "Configuration" in the left side menu. Click the "Update" tab and uncheck the "Install additional languages" box.

Please log in at the a-squared customer center and go to "Manage Licenses":

There you can disable the checkbox "Language Updates". If you delete the language files in the languages folder of a-squared, they will not be restored with the next online update.
Attention!
Never delete the language file of the language you are currently using. a-squared would not work any longer and a re-install of the full a-squared package would be necessary.
