I didn't receive the password email after creating a new user account
The registration email is sent automatically by our servers immediately after you create the account. Usually it only takes a few minutes until you have the email in your inbox. If you didn't receive the email, please check these points:
Too restrictive spam filter
Check your spam filter or contact your internet service provider if the email was wrongly filtered. Some big freemailers like Hotmail, Yahoo, Verizon or GMX use very restrictive spam filters which remove most of the automatically sent emails. If you use a spamfilter that requires a manual confirmation by the sender, it doesn't work. All automatically sent emails will be sent from donotreply@www.emsisoft.com. This is a send only email account and will not be read if you write a reply. You must enable this email address manually in your spamfilter.
Wrong email address
Did you really enter a working and correct email address? In some cases typos are the reason for an impossible delivery of the email. Does your email address really work? Try to send a test email to yourself to ensure the address is working correctly.
Email routing problems
Sometimes, mailservers have technical problems which may result in a long delay or non delivery. Mails may hang in queues for hours or days because of the high traffic. Mailservers may be overloaded because of spam and worm emails.
If our system is not able to deliver the email within 2 days to the responsible mailserver, the user account will be removed. You can create a new a-squared account then.
If you get a message that there is already an a-squared account for your email address, you can request the right password for the address at the a-squared customer center:
